Dandenongs Trail Runners organise a series of social events and runs on top of the regular Sunday and Thursday runs. We also enter teams in some major trail run events.
Here’s a calendar of events. We’ll post more details on our Facebook group closer to the time of each event.
Join us for an approximately 20km run around a route in the Dandenongs that’s (kind of) in the shape of Australia – if you look at it on Strava.
This run around Bright and Mount Buffalo is a popular event for DTR runners. We pitch our marquee at the event for members to gather and drop off bags.
The DTR online merch shop will be open for a limited time for you to pick up DTR-branded goodies, including singlets, hoodies and buffs.
Saturday 5th: DTR membership comes up for renewal every April. To mark the DTR New Year, come along to the Parkrun at Lilydale starting at 8:00am. Run 5 km and then hang around afterwards for a catchup with DTR members.
25th April – ANZAC Day Run – join us early as we run to the ANZAC Memorial in Ferny Creek for the dawn service and then a run afterwards.
10th August our Annual General Meeting to be held at Kalista Football Ground. Think about becoming part of an amazing team that works hard in the background to manage DTR.
Catchup socially at the local Hard Road Brewery in Bayswater. Come along for a relaxing and fun time and share a beer or two, bring your partner and kids along as well There will be free beer and food for members.
Our famous Christmas Run – yes time to get dressed to impress in your favourite Santa outfit. Prizes for best costume, food and drink for members and family members welcome.
Dandenongs Trail Runners acknowledges the Wurundjeri people as the Traditional Owners and Custodians of the land on which we run. We pay our respects to their Elders past and present.
